Community event · West Chester, PA
West Gay Street closes to traffic and fills with chili on Sunday, October 18, from noon to 4, and Boyle’s Floor & Window Designs will be there as a sponsor and a vendor. Our showroom sits a few blocks east on the same street, so this is about as local as an event gets for us.

Sunday, Oct 18, 2026, noon to 4 PM

West Gay Street, downtown West Chester

At our table
Free $500 Gift Certificate Drawing
A table, a few of the people you would meet at the showroom, giveaways, and a drawing for a $500 gift certificate good toward any Boyle’s purchase of $2,000 or more. Flooring, window treatments, refinishing, stair runners, whatever project is on your list. Entry is free, no purchase is necessary, and it is one entry per household. Fill out a raffle form at the table and we will draw the winner at the end of the day. The certificate is good for one year, so there is no rush to pick a floor.
Bring your flooring questions too. Jacqi, Bill, Keith, and Jason have answered most of them before, and a chili line is as good a place as any.
The Cook-Off is run by Fiorenza’s Food For Friends, a West Chester nonprofit that works to end hunger locally and beyond. Our sponsorship includes a donation to the local food bank, and every tasting ticket sold on the street goes to the same cause. Boyle’s has been in this borough since 1951. Showing up for the people who live here is part of the job.
West Chester Chili Cook-Off. Sunday, October 18, 2026, noon to 4 PM, on West Gay Street in downtown West Chester. Rain date Sunday, October 18. Tasting tickets are available in advance through the event website at westchesterchilicookoff.com. Dozens of restaurants, businesses, and nonprofits compete, and the crowd votes for the People’s Choice.
Can't make it Sunday?
If you cannot make it, the showroom at 705 East Gay Street is open Saturday from 9 to 3 and Monday through Friday from 9 to 5. Call (610) 429-9773 or schedule a free in-home visit any time. We will save you a bowl.
