Commercial and senior living
Boyle’s Floor & Window Designs supplies and installs commercial flooring with its own crews from West Chester, PA. Senior living is a specialty: Boyle’s currently installs for Brandywine Senior Living communities from northern New Jersey to Virginia, for Welltower communities in Vermont, and for Brightview and Arbor Terrace.
Commercial since 1951
A commercial floor has a different job than a residential one. It has to survive rolling carts, hundreds of daily footsteps, and a cleaning crew with a floor machine. It has to meet slip and fire standards, go in on a schedule that does not close the business, and look professional for years. Boyle’s has done this work since 1951, with a warehouse manager who stages every job before it ships.
Our specialty
We currently install flooring for Brandywine Senior Living, in communities from northern New Jersey to Virginia; for Welltower communities in Vermont; and for Brightview and Arbor Terrace. That work takes us well beyond Chester County.
A senior living floor has to do several things at once. It needs slip resistance without looking institutional, transitions that sit flush for walkers and wheelchairs, surfaces that housekeeping can keep clean, and a look that feels like home to the people who live there. We have installed corridors, lounges, dining rooms, elevator lobbies, and fitness and activity rooms in occupied communities, working around residents and staff schedules.
If you manage or operate a senior living community, ask us for a site visit. We will bring product recommendations, specification sheets, and a schedule built around your residents.
Space by space
Swipe the table sideways to see every column.
| Space | What we usually install | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Corridors | Carpet tile | Quiets footsteps, looks residential, and one damaged square can be replaced without redoing the hall |
| Lounges and common rooms | Carpet tile or broadloom | Warmth and acoustics where residents gather |
| Dining rooms | Patterned carpet tile or luxury vinyl tile | Hides soil between cleanings; vinyl where spills are constant |
| Elevator lobbies and entries | Carpet tile or porcelain tile | Heavy traffic and rolling loads |
| Fitness and activity rooms | Wood-look luxury vinyl plank | Wipes clean and still feels like home |
| Clinical areas and kitchens | Sheet vinyl with welded seams | A seamless, sanitary surface |

Restaurants and hospitality, where moisture and heavy traffic meet. Property managers and general contractors who need a supplier that shows up when scheduled.
